Didn't know how to label this. Just had a call from my son in law. His father died about a year ago and his older brother now has their father's BAR. Their father was heavy into the Crazy Horse Memorial to the point of spending hsi vacation there blowing things up. (he handle explosives for a living) They want to put some type of symbol of Crazy Horse on the rifle. They were talking about a new stock and craving.

I suggested some type of engraving that could be mounted on the stock. Maybe on the bottom of the grip cap.

I told them I would ask if any of you had an idea and more important someone (hopefully in the Nashville area) that could do something like that.

As usual just my $.02

Paul I know of a guy who sets up at some of the cowboy action shoots, who does laser ecthing on wood stocks. If your son-inlaw has some sort of digital graphics design, this guy should be able to do it. It looks OK, but I am not really into this type of embelishment.

WinkThat is why I tried to talk them out of having the side carved. I was thinking about something on the bottom of the grip. Out of the way but there when they want to see it.

why not just have it engraved on the action? It's not like it would be in the way or interfere with the operation of the rifle at all.
