TC1His stocks on ebay are clubby and only the basic beginings of a stock. They need a lot of shaping. On the duplicating he did me right. He turned these for me. The one on the right is a piece of his wood. They aren't as close as you'll get from Shane Thompson or James Anderson, but they are very workable.

D HumbargerI also have a stock from him. The inletting is fine for my taste. Yes it leaves a lot of inletting and shaping but I don't mind that. My stock is in Bill Soverns capable hands right now waiting to be checkered. I look forward to showing it off on this forum as soon as I get it back.

D Humbarger2 dogs just a suggestion but you might want to stay away from the flat sawn stocks & look for a quarter sawn stock. FWIW.

2 dogswhat is the difference?are they easier to inlet or finish?

alvinmackI agree with what everyone has said, yes a bit clubby but he leaves plenty of wood and the inletting is very workable. Honestly a good value when you consider the quality of wood and the inletting service.
