Sirs:
A while back I found a "how to" drawing of adjusting a Rem 7oo trigger. Lost it somewhere and would like some help. I have a new 700 BDL- 22-250, I received as a 25 yr. hunter safety instructor, the trigger is painfully heavy. I know that the two screws in the front of the trigger assembly are the adjustments but I always forget which is which and which way to turn them. Thankx

Screw in the back for sear engagement, front top over travel, bottom weight of pull. Adjust sear first, then overtravel, finally pull.

I read on in the forum and found my answer- It's monday. BTW this is the fifth Rem 700. The first one I adjusted by luck 33 years ago the next three needed no work but this new on has a trigger pull similar to the trip rope on a three bottom John Deere plow.
thankx
