Turkish Mauser 8MM barrel
Anyone have a 8MM barrel they pulled from a Turkish mauser they would like to sell cheap? Needs to be in reasonable shooting condition as I want to rebarrel my M96 Swedish mauser. That 6.5 barrel has seen too many rounds.

Rick,
I have a very nice military take off from an M38 Swede short rifle (23 1/2 " barrel) if your interested in sticking with the 6.5.

I'm not sure it will work.
I have some strange threads and lengths on some 1903 Turk barrels I have pulled.

Read the FAQ at Brownell's.

Ive got a 93 Spanish Mauser with a 7.62 NATO bbl on it that someone has marked 308 Win. Ive considered looking for a Turk action to put the 7.62 NATO bbl on to give it a stronger action.

I guess that would make it a NATerk, or maybe a Sperk.. Big Grin
