I ordered two '09 actions from JLD enterprises about two months ago and have not heard from them. Seems they don't answer the phone either.

Jim,

Did you by chance order over via the web? I called about two months ago after a thread here and they informed me they hadn't had any 09 actions for at least 6 months. I was told the only actions they had were the semi auto's. Were you charged for them?

I paid fdor those actions with a postal money order. I went to the post office yesterday and was told nothing can be done until 60 days after the check was issued. I am not sure they would tell me if it was cashed or not. The thing of it is, I talked to a guy at Cruffle, which handled the transaction (they take the order and money and JLD shipped the action) told me they had not done any business with JLD for over a year. I asked about the website and he asked what date was on it. As far as I am concerned, the web site was still valid and he says to find out if it was cashed and to let him know.

Did you send the MO to cruffle? I asked this same thing about six months ago on the FALfiles and was told cruffler was out of business for over a year.

Just yesterday I sent an email to them asking about Sistema Colt's and they relied within two days.

I'm not so sure the one that was shown in that photo ever really came from JLD. It sure looks an awful lot like one I had about eight years ago and traded to someone else. That action if it is what I think it is, was a three digit serial number, the lowest one I have ever seen, and was also one of the nicest specimens I have seen. I doubt it could be purchased today for much less than $200.00, maybe even more.

Also, the piece of furniture it was sitting on looked real familiar also. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.
