Hi, I have a savage 24V-A , 20ga. -.222 REM , I am looking at mounting a scope on it, for coyote hunting. I was wondering if there was a mount i could get for this particular firearm. I was told on an other site that i could use a weaver #74, any info before i order that particular mount, would be appreciated. Thank's: Rick. P.S> serial # A064XXXX.

i have a scope on mine its on a weaver base but I can't see the #. mounts to the breech and goes out to the back of the rear sight. Been on it for long time and works well

Mine started out .223/20 gauge, also has a Weaver #74, can't remember if I had to drill any extra holes in the mount, or not.
