As part of my "professional development" I am attending a course on effective presentations. I have to choose a subject, I've decided to pick something to do with rifles, probably what goes into a rifle to make it accurate, using my custom build as an example. I then have to "present" this for around 20 mins with visual aids to boot! If you have any data, graphs or Power Point data please give me a shout.

Tictac,

You should be able to put together an entertaining and quite effective video presentation on rifle accuracy, by demonstrating on tape, the accuracy potential of you and your rifle.

Set up a deck of cards with each card closely overlapping the next at a range of 100 meters, and then shoot your best hand. You can throw in a couple of exploding water mellons to drive it home. You should easily be able to stretch this to 20 minutes...

Good luck,

TicTac,

I don't know how things are across the pond, so-to-speak, but charts and graphs are boring. A person can fall to sleep in less than a minute. A boring 20 minute presentation would give the audience a nice little 19 minute "Cat Nap". Particularly when doing a slide and graph "presentation" on a subject like "rifle accuracy".

Here in the States, we tend to think actions speak louder than words, so I would tend to think a clever "demonstration" of accuracy, using video and sound, would do more to keep folks awake than all the charts and graphs you could find. The idea is to demonstrate "creative" thinking. But then I never made it past 11th grade myself so what do I know...
[Confused]

Continued good luck,

Malm
