The two barrels I bought for my 404 Jeffery projects were made by Lothar Walther USA, in Georgia. Excellant quality control and very nice barrels. The US price was very reasonable!

Hartmann and Weiss have no problem screwing them into their esquisit premier magnum mauser actions(kick off price around $27K for a rifle). I spoke with them and they expressed the utmost praise for those barrels, and questioned why I would want something else.
Their actions are supremo!! so I will not question the quality of their barrel recommendation.

Jim Brockman put one on a .375 H&H for me: it likes to shoot all 300 grain loads to the same hole.

In 2003 I got a Ruger 77/II 270 W. rebarreled with a pre threaded/chambered LW #1300 contour. I'm very satisfied. Very accurate and the bore is clean in 1 minute.
