I can't find a Savage Model 40 to look at. I am wondering if it is feasible to convert it to 218 Bee? Has anyone looked into this? RELOAD - ITS FUN!

I went to a gun show this weekend and saw neither a model 40 or the new Stevens 200 but I do happen to have a set of RCBS dies in 218 Bee that are in the original paper box. It's been so long I am not sure what rifle I bought them for but I think it was a Winchester bolt rifle. If you want them send me an email at rickt300@yahoo.com. Would need barrel cutoff and setback , 218 bee is shorter than the 22 Hornet. Also extractor rework. If you look at how the 40 action to barrel lock is done . It could be done but how much $$ ? Johnch NRA life Delta Pheasants Forever DU Hunt as if your life depended on your results
