Yesteday at the gun show there was an FN Mauser 300 win mag, redfield scope, side safety, 1909 type mag release for $225.

I walked around for 15 minutes, I went back to get it just as someone else was buying it.

I did not need another 300 Win mag, but I wanted the parts.

We don't get any deals like that here ( Colorado) at gun shows or in pawn shops, everybody's shit is gold plated around here or so they think when they put it up for sale.
I would have snatched that up first look, don't need a 300 but I could turn it into something else!

I don't bother gun shows anymore. They are more like flea markets and I never find anything of value. We may have too much competition because of the local un schools
