Does anyone have experience with the Hogue full length bedding block stock? I want to replace my Ruger .300 stock, possibly with one of these if they are decent. I think I like the idea of that bedding block for rigidity. Any feedback would be great.

I would not spend the extra $$$ for the full alu. bedding block unless you are puting it on a .458WM & shooting 500-600g only!! beer
I have 3. 2 pillar, 1 full on a 458VZ-24 jumping

I take it the stock is tough enough to take the recoil without the bedding block?

I might try one, the only drawback is the shape of the stock, I don't like the extra little flair at the bottom of the pistol grip. Strictly cosmetic, I can live with it if everything else is good.
Thanks guys.

My only real problem is the one I had needed a lot of material removed from one side of the barrel channel and that rubber is a bitch to remove in a clean fashion. It is ugly and heavy but pretty stout.
