I am having trouble locating a synthetic drop in stock for a CZ 550 9.3x62. Any recomendations where to look and any experience with them would be helpful. Thanks

Here's my CZ 550 in 416 Rigby in a MacMillan drop-in.

None whatsover, but I would do several things to the stock before thinking it's all done cause you could bolt it on no problem.

1) Don't just drop it in using the action screw sleeves that come with your CZ. Ask McMillan or have your smith put in pillar bedding sleeves. The action sleeves that come with the CZ aren't strong enough to resist being torqued down with a composite stock without deforming.
2) You will want to relieve the area in the stock just behind the tang so that the paint on the stock doesn't crack at that spot.

3) Decide before you buy whether you want the sling swivel stud in the forend or not.

Hope this helps.
