Anyone have any bases stuffed in an old drawer for the old H and r uktrarifle? It’s an L579 with a round top.

If it's the same contour as the FN Mauser, I have a set. Rare.

The front and rear bridges are the same contour (and plane) at about 1.25. Front hole spacing is .860 rear .500

Baxter......

If I recall correctly, Redfield made a bridge mount for it.....back in the day. They pop up on eBay once in awhile. Check hole spacings VERY carefully.

Conetrol made/makes a two-piece base set for the round-top L579.....check their website.

Then there's Weaver.........

Hope this helps.

Redfield makes a set for the round top L-461 and the 579 or did a couple of years ago.
