I posted this about a year ago and was not able to find these parts. It's also posted under military but there's a lot more traffic here. Where can I buy the bbl shroud and bayonet lug for these military shotguns? The 97s are blued and the mod 12 is parkerized. Any help will be apopreciated.

Try doing a search for the Gun Parts Corporation out of West Hurley, NY. If they don't have it, chances are you won't be able to find it.

Not available from anyone in quanity. You may find one here or there but you will pay dearly. Check the CSP combat shotgun forum. Bottom line is you probably won't be able to put a trench gun together by buying the military parts and putting them one a modified sporting gun, if that is what you are getting at.

Thanks Guys, I'll give them a try. These two 97s and one 12 are real trench guns with all the correct markings including the ordance bomb. They are just missing the bbl shroud and baynet lug. I also have all the parts for another 97 except bbl shroud, bayonet lug, and receiver. Somebody didn't realize what these shotguns were worth complete. The parkerized mod 12 has a normal clamp from a civilian gun holding the bbl to the magazine tube. Interesting. Again, Thanks.
