I posted this question on the Big Bore group and am also posting it here in hopes of finding out if this is a problem before I go am make mess out of my RSM.

"Does any know if it is possible and safe to open the boltface on a RSM to 505 Gibbs specs? Also does anyone have a cartridge drawing of the 505 Gibbs that I can use as a reference. I just got off the phone with Mr Jamison who pointed out to me that I may be pushing my luck opening my ruger up to 505 Gibbs specs."
