I have a agi video on it somewhere if you want to borrow it. Either you can go with a kit or it's mostly careful stoning. The kit was easier, drop in for me. -Don

hivelosity -- The easiest (and cheapest) way to reduce trigger pull is to install a Volquartsen hammer. It's a drop-in part and the improvement over factory is remarkable. -- ale

I have the trigger pretty smoth and it breaks like glass but it about 4 to 4 1/2 pounds, i am trying to get it down to about 2 to 3 pounds using what it came with. Whats so special about the volquartsen hammers? I have been looking at diffrent parts and trigger groups and thought that i needed a challenge, thanks, Dave

You can get reduced weight springs also. It was so long ago I did mine I can't remember where though. -Don

The Volquartsen hammer made all the difference on my International. While you have the receiver apart to install it you can put in the improved bolt hold open and a better magazine latch.

Westpac, you crack me up ! ! ![]() Here's a link to a thread over on RFC that describes how to stone the sear. This method, as I understand it, was taken straight from the AGI video that Don mentioned. http://rimfirecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108793&page=2 -- ale

That's how I got started. Well that and some hand written instructions that I couldn't read very well. I used to use black electricians tape to hide scratches, but didn't want to be anywheres in the area when the barrel got hot. ![]() ![]() ![]() _______________________________________________________________________________ This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine. It's expensive but it's the best you can buy: the Kidd trigger. It will go down to just a few ounces. I have it in my component 10/22, and it feels better than sex...
