When you get to town, look for the big green building with the big round dome, it is on Virginaia St. If you are coming in on an airplane, take a cab or wait for the courtesy shuttle, every 20 minutes. It is at the Silver Legacy, one of the newer hotels in the downtown area. The exposition is open to the public from noon to 5PM Friday and Saturday, and 10AM til 3pm on Sunday. Cost is $20 a day, free to members and associates. You will not be disappointed. If you don't have a reservation or place to stay, you may have a hard time finding a room; SCI convention is in town at the same time. One option is to get hold of Customstox, he has said he will have plenty of room to share.

There are a couple of shows in Reno this week. The ACGG show is at the Silver Legacy Saturday and Sunday. Cost is $20/day, unless you are an ACGG member. The SCI convention is at the Hilton convention center. It's $100/day to get in. They offer discounted multi-day passes, but it's still a chunk of dough.
Reno is quite modern, paved streets, flush toilets, all the comforts of home. I can't help you with the RV parking question.

LOL, flush toilets???? So I did not have to go out in that grove of trees? Damn what will they think of next. Gave me a good chuckle to start my day off. Thanks.
Actually, the ACGG show starts on Friday.

Red. so know you tell me. Frantically checkering here. Should be on my gravestone.
Speaking of those, I heard that the 20's comedian, W. C. Fields, actually had this, under his orders before his death, engraved on his tombstone. "All things considered, I would rather be in Philadelphia."
Correction, I just did a search on Google. It says, "I'd rather be dead and buried here than alive and living in Philadelphia."

I don't know which interstate, but there is an exit. The show is in the ballroom below the casino floor. No lunch, but there is a bar, man does not live by bread alone.
