What are the probabilities of a 6.5x55 swede barrel being very accurate if it were rechambered to 6.5-284. I have a turk action and there is a swede barrel available to use or would it be better to buy a new barrel?

HerrMesser that's going to be a role of the dice. That answer will only be found in the doing. One concern that I would consider is that the Swede barrel has a long throat which might not clean up without setting the barrel back & I don't know if that military barrel can be set back enough.

The long throat will not be a problem as I just might see what the heavy bullets will do.
