I was getting ready to order my 700 Titanium in 30-06, when I herd that there was problems with the action as far as galling. Is there any truth in this? Or is this some myth? Please respond so I can make my decision, I want one real bad. Also does the titanium have the same quality to weather as stainless?. Thanks MD

Madog, I have one and haven't noticed this. Accuracy is superb.

This is a photo from the first time I shot my gun, not bad for zero load development. the first three rounds from each of two loads are circled, range 100 yards.

Completely false!! We have produced
more Titanium actions than anybody and
we have NEVER had one gall.

I have found 17-4 sts to be more prone
to galling than anything else I have
ever worked with.

This myth has been around for years and
we were getting very tired of dealing
with it.

Buy away!!
