I recieves a letter from Jamie, their new bookkeeper, stating they didn't have an FFL for me. After I told them who to look for in their records, Roger Farrell, I asked to speak to someone who could advise me on the progress on my action. I was transferred to Jeff Sipes. Jeff was pleasant and told me they had recieved all the actions in their shop and were measuring each one, along with the bolts, before final assembly. He stated they had gotten some that weren't right and this was necessary to make sure each action wasn't "a piece of crap" when it was shipped. He told me that it looked like a 3 to 5 week process before they were shipped. I told him that didn't sound too bad and to make sure the quality was up to par before shipping mine. At this point I can afford to wait for a bug-free action. I just hope they don't slow down too much, I'd sure like to get my hands on my new toy. | ||
