Curious as to how this compares with Brownells polish-o-ray polishing compound. Worse, same or better?
Thanks

80% of my parts polishing is done on felt wheels.
The formax really shines in that application.

Have used it since about 1990 with excellent results as it will spread out nice and flat. It takes a while for it to dry enough to use, but simply work around it doing something else until it is dry. You can build it up enough, and it will simply keep wearing down thru the layer until it so glazed over you will need to recoat.

The Brownells pro ray is ideal for mulsin wheels as it is stringy and you want it to stay in place longer on that soft of a wheel.

The hard part is keeping them in shape, moist enough to put on the wheel. They will dry out if you do not take care.
