Below is the results of a test I did this past weekend. Very unscientific but I wanted to see how the velocity differed between different length barrels on some of my 7x57's. I used Sellier & Bellot 173gr and Norma 150gr factory loads. For what its worth here are the results. I can't get my spreadsheet to copy in the same format so its kinda hard to follow. I would be glad to email the Excel spreadsheet to anyone interested. Ammo Bullet Distance Conditions 1st shot 2nd shot 3rd shot Avg.Vel.
