Does anyone have diagrams/drawings of how to convert the safety lever on the old 700's (bolt locking) to the new style (non bolt locking)?

I know I could send it to Remington for $10.00 round trip, but I hate the thought of sending any of my firearms anywhere!
Thanks;

The easiest solution would be to grind the top of the locking protrusion (the part that sticks up thru the reciever and engages the bolt) I don't know Remingtons policy on installing aftermarket or non-original equipment. The last time I checked they would not sell any trigger or safety parts out the door.

Grinding off the small amount of metal to fix this problem is very easy to do, I have done it on all of my 660's in no more that 5 minutes each. It dosen't hurt to add a little bluing to the exposed edge when your done either.
