I am considering getting a McMillan stock for my short actioned .308 win Winchester Classic Featherweight. In the process I would like to get rid of the hinged floorplate and replace it with a blind magazine. What extra parts are necessary and where can I get them??

For the front screw I get a finish washer at the hardware store. For the trigger guard the easiest is to just pick up an aftermarket Rem 700 ADL guard line up the back hole. On the front hole either bed a nut or you can use a wood screw to hole it. I've never had a problem with this step up. Have done the same on the Ruger MII as well.
