Is there any place to buy blank shotgun barrels. I was just given a nice Ithaca 16 ga. NID double with one blown barrel. I would like to "re-barrel" to 20 ga.

Thanks

Be easier to find another set of 16ga barrels or buy a 20ga gun outright. Certainly cheaper

ER Shaw sells barrel blamks but the money it's going to cost to have a smith build new barrels for a 20 that'll fit a 16 ga frame isn't worth it. Be cheaper to do one of the above. Unless it's a high grade gun you'd end up paying more for the repair than the gun will be worth. If it has sentimental value, that's another thing,

If you want to sell the gun for parts, let me know.

depending on where it's blown, and assuming the "blown part" is a few inches ahead of the receiver /chamber end of the barrels, the better option would be to sleeve the barrels.

Kirk Merrington or JJ at Champlins could do it. But it's still an expensive proposition.

Sleeving would run you about $1500.00
New barrels would be about $3500.00
