gents:

quick question: I have two Echols Legend stocks on order. Does anyone know whether there are any limitations as to whose bottom metal can/can't be used? I am looking to use Williams bottom metal and keep the rifle as a 3+1 proposition although Echols has his own magazine system that will allow for 4+1. I am using a M70 Classic that Dennis Olsen will convert from 30 06 to 375 H&H.

Thanks.

When ordering an Echols Legend syn.stock, I was told I needed to specify which bottom metal I wanted to use, so it could be inleted accordingly.

DArcy emailed me and explained how to deal with the situation. BTW, for you members out there with synthetic stocked rifles, is there anything wrong with using a CM blued barrel or, rather do folks use them or is SS the preferred alternative even thoiugh the action is CM?
