Is there any adjustment on the trigger of the Savage Axis rifle? A friend of mine brought one over that belongs to a friend of his. I could not figure out how to get any adjustment on the trigger. The gun shoots minute of angle, but the trigger is WAY heavy.

No adjustments on the axis or edge triggers as far as i`m aware. They can be smoothed up by a person who knows what to stone and changing springs. If you aren`t familliar with this kind of work try your local gunsmith.

Thanks! That is what I thought. It is definitely not like my old Savage. I was pleased with the way that the gun shoots, but it looks to me like a trigger replacement is the way to go.
