my first 2 CZ's triggers cleaned up great just by adjusting the takeup on the set and unset triggers, however my most recent CZ has a trigger the needs the pull lightened, I have done what I can with the take up screws.

So here is my qustion, there are a total of 4 adjustment screws, the weight of pull screw is supposed to be screw A its the top screw on the front of the trigger, It appears to tighten against a spring, so my question is, which way lightens the pull?? tighten or untighten??

in times when one needs a rifle, he tends to need it very badly.....PHC

Unless the screw has reverse threads it should be clockwise to increase weight of pull, and counter clockwise to decrease. As you move the screw in and apply more pressure to the spring or compress it, weight increase... unscrew... etc. Makes sense?

Just in case you wanted to know... the sear engagement, which I don't believe was discussed in my manual is the little allen screw. If I remember right, it's on the back of the housing.
