Has anyone used these luepold Extension rings that have the dove tail extended out about5/8"?

I dont care for them but might have to use one. Are they sturdy ? They seem like they might be alittle flimsy...

I mount them all the time when the spacing is needed. They are 2nd choice to extention bases but work and hold fine. Sometimes these are just the trick to get the scope in the right place. No worries.

Thanks ...luepold needs to offer a center mount rear base!
