I occasionally get a pretty good deal but not as good as those deals. Best deal I ever got was a mint and 100% correct 03 Springfield National Match at a pawn shop for $150.
I have a friend who scalps pretty regularly at pawn shops, shows, the net, etc. but he is constantly working at it and on the lookout.
By the way, does your gunsmith want to sell his Brevex at a nice profit?
