tin canstock paint suggestions-
what brands, etc? I'd like to have something like "crackle" finish that won't peel/flake off. What prep to the original finish prior to painting?
thx.

BriceI once used wrinkle paint only to discover on an Alaskan hunt that mosquito repellent was a very effective solvent for it. Quite a sticky mess!

Mike in MichiganDitto on the bedliner. Gives the texture. If you don't like the color, you can cover it with Brownell's AlumaHyde after it has fully cured. Have seen others done by sprinkling sand from a salt shaker onto wet paint, followed immediately by another coat of same paint. Practice on scrap first to perfect(?) your technique with the shaker.
