Mcmillan stock installation question

Have any of you sent in a rifle to Mcmillan to be stocked? I have a future project in mind and was considering sending the barreled action to them for bedding and stock work.

If so how was their quality of work and what style stock do you have? I have a Winchester action and an FN action. I'm considering getting nice bottom metal and wanted a close, straight inlet on that.

Thanks,

Hi terry!

I have spent a afternoon at the McMillan plant in Phoenix with the guy that bed stocks all day long. I would not hesitate to send off a rifle to McMillan to get it bedded! The guy that showed us the McMillan bedding shop was a tru pro that have done thousands of bedding jobs. He worked fast and with really good results.

Stefan,
Thanks, I have an excellent gunsmith near by that can do the metal work but wanted to just send in the barreled action to Mc. Sounds like they do excellent work.

McMillan does excellent work. It takes 4 months though.
