Need some good advice.

Is the browning pump action able to handle the 9.3x62 Confused

Can a competent gunsmith simply rechamber the barrel or is this a very complicated and difficult task Confused

They might already make one at the factory. The BAR 9.3x62 has been available in Europe for some time now.

Thanks KurtC
Have not come across a pump in australia or in browning catologues but if the Bar is suitable for the round the pump may be suitable also.
Will definetely hassle the browning importer before getting a secondhand one done up.
cheers

Had another look in internation catologue.
I think the BPR was discontinued in 2000 but they now have the Longtrack action. Which is still a pump action rifle. Although in 3006 and 300win mag.

I have seen BPR coming up second hand in Aus and a 'new' BPR the other day in 3006 for $1200 Aus.

How would these go for converting?

You could re-bore one in 30-06 to 9.3 x 62.
