can anyone help with this finish?
saw rifle that instead of blued or matt finish was green, the only thing I could liken it to is a cyanide hardening finish. the rifle was one of the tactical remingtons built on a accuracy international system.

many thanks
griff

Was it one of those bake-on spraycan finishes?

Does the surface still look "metal"?

If it's like a metal surface but with green color then it is interesting...steel can be colored other than black, but color is usually dull.

Hi guys,
the finish just looks like blue but instead its matt green. it doesn't look like a spray finish! when looking at it closely it looks like a chemical etching just like blue. as I said before its the same colour as cyanide hardening!

thanks
griff
