I have a new Winchester Super grade stock and have a couple of nicks on it I would like to fix. I called Winchester and they said the finish was something like "tex-acrylic" and I could not duplicate it. They suggested stripping the stock if it needed repair.

Has anyone dealt with this finish? Can it be repaired? If necessary, what strips it?
