I hate to do it, but I have decided to reduce the amount of tooling and machinery in my shop. The requirements for a manufacturers license and other things along with my age (I am 70) have brought about this decision. I am just running out of time to accomplish all of my back burner projects and engage in Salt Water Fishing, my first love. So the duplicator will likely be the first to go. I have posted photos before on AR so some of you have seen it. I rebuilt the machine completely and added some features for stock making. And it will duplicate a LH stock from a RH pattern!! Tooled with cutters and tracers. And spare parts. I will include a pickup load of Maple stock blanks: Tiger and flame patterns and a large number of low grade blanks suitable for making patterns. And several large walnut slabs. Also included will be the sanding cradle shown in the photos and a checkering cradle. Might even throw in my Dem Bart collection! Look at this link over on the African Hunting Forum for photos of the Duplicator in use: https://www.africahunting.com/...ck-duplicator.28310/ I have not decided just when to let it go, but it will likely be sometime this year. I am also planning on liquidating other gun building tools and machinery in the shop along with my many Mauser and Enfield actions, a few Pre 64's, some complete rifles, two Montana new actions, two new old stock never used Mark X actions, a few barreled actions, big bore stuff, chamber reamers, some Martini actions, and a lot of other stuff. I will be working through the shop the next few months and posting items for sale as I get to them. Send a PM if you are interested in the Duplicator. This is an ideal machine for a serious stock maker entering the Profession. Meanwhile I will be out in the boat fishing!

PM sent!!! Matt FISH!! Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984: "Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."

That quilted maple needs to be on a guitar! Depending on how wide those blanks are some luthiers would be interested in the maple. I could put you into contact with some people. We don't see a lot of maple stocked guns anymore.

Agreed but I hate to see the blanks cut up into 1/8" thick veneer for stringed instruments!!!

We don't see striped (curly) maple stocks? We see them all the time on flint lock rifles. It is 99 percent of them. Then and now. . I get your point though; they look "different" on bolt actions.
