got one in 30 06 a 1998 model that the triggers a tad heavy for me. how hard are they to reduce to the 2lb or so range.

Aftermarket trigger, probably a Jard. I think thats the one, replaces most of the Ruger stuff.

Yes, Jard trigger. Order the weight you want from them, and it will be pretty dead on installed. Takes about an hour to install.
