It's that time of year, and, sad to say, instead of visions of sugar plums, I've visions of... RENO.

Who's going?

Last year I scrounged my way up and had a great time.

Arrived Friday night in time for dinner with Bill Soverns and Glen and Mark Stratton and Rick, made the show on Saturday and Sunday.

Don't miss the Saturday night banquet.

It was a blast.

Anyway, I'm hoping to make it again.

Although it will be an economic stretch. As usual.

If you love custom rifles, Reno is the place to be.

I'll be there. Would like to meet those from AR attending.

I'm really looking forward to the ACGG show, as much as the SCI show.

Mr. Kobe

Incest is not a healthy perversion. It has terrible consequences for many families.

Well isn't that nice. Mr. Kobe erased the part of his previous post concerning incest and instead substituted a nice saying about me.

Thank you Mr. Kobe. Happy Holidays to you.

I will be at the show and the dinner on Saturday, since my daughter is one of the young ladies who helps convince people to spend lots of money at the auctions.

I have a sure-fire method for coming home from either Reno or Vegas with a million dollars.

Go there with three million dollars! Big Grin

The trip is my Christmas present this year. I am considering bring along a Tuff Pak. I need a blank and god knows I can find about any reason for a new rifle. But then again I dont suppose they sell anything there you could shoot a coyote with.

Many Thanks

HBH:

You can often get great wood for a very reasonable price at the guild show. There are also usually quite a few rifles there that you could shoot a coyote with. In my experience, most of the guild members build guns that are meant to be used, not just looked at.

The problem with the internet is that it is easy to be misinterpreted, I did not take your comment as a cut. Rather, most people assume that the builders in the guild either build big-game rifles or looking-at rifles. I believe that you will be pleasantly suprised by the people there.

My wife and I will have a table in Reno. Please stop by and introduce yourselves. I read many of the posts on the site but don't log on very often, and I don't post much, but I'd like to put a face to the names.

Maybe someone could come up with a method to identify oneself as an AR member; like maybe a sticker of some kind with your screen name on it.

Once again Mr. Kobe erases a part of his post after I write mine. (His original post said "Furstration is flipping the bird to 22WRF and not having him here to see it")

Nevertheless, Could someone please stuff a sock up Kobe's Asshole.

Frustration comes from not being right there when Kobe flips me the bird.

So should all of us going to Reno look for the two guys with socks hanging out of their asses to find you guys? Eeker

With all of the obvious “compatible†personalties on here this show in Reno looks to be an event that no one is gonna want to miss.
