I took delivery of my first custom rifle today. It took 10 months after I supplied all the components. It is in 338 RUM , as I already have 4 338 WMs'. It is based on a right handed stainless MRC 1999 action. The barrel is a 26 inch Lothar Walther and the stock is the D'Arcy Echols McMillan. Scope mounts are Talleys. Initially I will mount a Bausch and Lomb 2.5-10X but will switch scopes in the future. If Daniel , M98 , is able I will try and post pictures. Mark

Mark, Sounds like you've got yourself a nice rifle there. A rifle for those long cross-gully shots and the sambar? I'd love to see pictures when you get them up. - stu

You picked it Stu, I paticularly wanted it for farm fringe sambar hunting. Shots will be longer. The plan is to use only 250 gn. partitions. My 16 year old says he will help me post pictures. Mark
