A miracle occurred yesterday, I think. I located a gun maker who will fit, finish, assemble, and heat treat my custom flintlock parts sets. . . . Okay, to my query.

Who machines Manton or Nock or other flintlock patent breeches?

I not sure but try looking at the <Track of the Wolf> site. Hope that helps FWIW. --- John303.

Track of the Wolf is one place to look. They also, or used to, carry the patent breeches for flint type locks. I don't know what you're planning on your lock parts as far as finishing is concerned but the breeches look nice when case hardened instead of blued or browned and matched with a case hardened plate and hammer.
