Anyone know where I can get a 338 barrel blank with a 1-8 twist? It is for a Savage 110 338 whisper project. I will be shooting 300 grain bullets at 1050 fps. All the 338 barrels I have seen online are 1-10 twist or slower. Thanks.

I think Kreiger will make you any twist you want down to 1 in 6 on a special order basis. Most of the cut rifled guys can make barrels that fast.

I agree - try Krieger. If you are from Europe then try Border Barrels or Arms Restaurations Service ( a friend of Geoffrey Kolbe from border Barrels). All are excellent cut-rifled barrels with topquality accuracy and longevity.
