I have a Stevens Model 416 military marked that I need a front sight for. The dovetail measures .390 on the narrow side .400 on the wide side. The target sights have been removed, I have a rear sight for it I can adapt but no front.
I have a bunch of front sights in my neat stuff box but all measure .360 or there about. I assume since its military it would not be standard. He wants a gold bead standard sight, the military was a globe (I think)
None of the sight manufactors I have looked up list one that wide. No idea on the height yet but would not be much as its bull barrel.
Anyway I need one.
