Anybody else waiting for one?
I've had an order in for 6 months for one and pre-paid for about 4 months, still waiting!
I have a .257 Roberts project at the "smiths" that just needs the 3 position and I'm done.
The good news is that everyone I've talked to at Gentry's seems like great people I think they are just in a time crunch on several things.

We have been reading conflicting reports on the Gentry safeties on this forum for quite some time. It seems like everybody who orders one and tries to put it on theirself either has trouble getting it shipped in a reasonable amount of time, and/or it doesn't work when it is finally delivered.

On the other hand, those that have sent their work down to Dave and his bunch to have the safety installed there get it and get it quickly.

Suffice it to say, if I really wanted a Gentry safety installed on a Mauser I would call him, get a firm date, and send the gun to him to have it installed.

All my mauser rifles have Ed LaPour safties
that I bought from Precise Metalsmithing some
time ago. They are excellent safties!

Didn't one of our craftsmen here just offer a new version with a more mauser-like gas sheild?
