You will be pleased with what ever you get from Badger. I have five barrels from Ernie.

Badger is producing match grade barrels for the Winchester custom shop. I bought a Win. CS rifle (M70, SS - 416RM)last year. I called the custome shop to verify what the dealer told me about the rifle. I asked about the source for the barrel and she told me it was produced by Badger. I suppose thats a pretty good endorsement.

I did not have a good experience with Badger.I can't tell you how good his barrels are, because I never got my order filled. After waiting six months for my barrel I called Ernie, and he said he could not tell me when I would get my barrel.I think six months is ample time for a barrel.I canceled my order, and placed it with Pacnor. They promised eight to ten weeks.I had it in nine.Very pleased. 1geejay www.shooting-hunting.com

The only barrels that I will use these days is Lothar-Walther, I have used a considerable number of these barrels and they ALL shoot 1/2" or less... I have used them all and none of them shoot like these do. I suspect I will never use another barrel maker. I liked Pacnor, Krieger, Lilja, but these Walthers are just a bit better IMHO, and a bunch of other riflemakers are getting on this bandwagon. ------------------
