I started a new post about the M1999 Short Action molds but I will also answer it here.
We just received today the first wax sample out of the "bolt" molds today. Speaking with Brian he said there were some "minor" problems, but they should be easily fixed. We are expecting the first wax samples of the receiver some time within the next week or two. As long as there are no major reworks required on the short action molds we are still well within our schedule. Which means we could start producing the shorts for public comsumption within the next month.

Assuming you start production July 1st, when do you expect to begin deliveries?

DB Bill and everyone,
I spoke with Brian on Friday and he said that he is ready to place the order for the short actions and get them into production. I believe he said something about putting the order in on Monday or Tuesday. By this I would expect to start deliveries around mid to late June, but that is not set in concrete. We are still waiting for the receiver sample to come in, so until we see that these dates can change by 2-3 weeks or more. But after working with the Long action, I don't forsee any major set-backs.

I'll place my order for a miniature and probably a magnum version after I receive my short action.

fla3006,
Shouldn't be much longer for the shorts or the left hand long. Brian mentioned last week that he will be placing the order for the actions some time this week.
