Hello

I have plans on building a new custom rifle. The action I'm thinking about at this very moment is Ed Brown 702.

I haven't seen one I would like to know if anyone on this forum has any knowledge about the Quality of Ed's products..

All comments are welcome

I was told by a well known 'smith that Ed's "Savanna" rifle is an outstanding piece of work. If this is the same action as he uses on the Savanna, then I'm sure it you would be pleased. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I saw one at the SHOT show and it really looks like the real deal and if they are anything like the work he does on the 1911 .45acp you will be more than happy.

Thanks to you all

I have decided that I will get one of Ed's actions, delivery time is only 14 days if all papers are OK.

Next problem is the cartridge, something in 7mm that is fairly fast 3300-3400 fps with a 150 grainer. The only option on cambering is that is not negotiable is that the neck must be long. 7mm WBY is in big trouble, so is 7mm dakota and 7mm Tooley.
