Does anyone know where I can get a barrel for a 16 gauge model 12. I would like to upgrade dads old shotgun so I can shoot steal shot and use interchangable chokes.

The model 12 requires a lot of special tools to fit a new barrel assembly. The chamber headspace rings are reamed to fix each barrel. It was not a quick change model which caused Win. to switch to a cheaper model. It could be done,but not worth the expense. We had all of these tools when working as a warranty center in the '60's and '70's. Leave the old model along and buy a model designed for steel shot.
