Did Winchester make the Classice in both the long and short action length or just the long for the .30-06 length and lng magmuns with magazine blocks for say a 22.50 or the WSM line?

Sorry, I left out an important item, was it done in Left Hand?

I know they made a VERY short one for the WSSMs, I have one for the .25 WSSM and I believe that it it too short even for the WSMs. I am not sure how many receiver lengths they made, total, but I believe it was at least 3 or 4.

How about the lengths of the new production actions?

Also, I have noticed that all the new offerings are CRF now. Is that true or is the old push feed still in production?

In the Classic series, there were originally 2 action lengths, short and long. The long was used for 30-06 based carts, magnums like the 7mm Rem and 300 Win Mag. They also modified the long action for the 375H&H length carts (called Express actions) by opening up the loading/ejection port to the rear, removing the spacer at the rear of the mag box, and modifying the bolt stop and ejector.

Later they made an action even shorter than the short action for the WSSM carts, but I am not sure whether or not this was a CRF Classic action or a push feed.

Thanks to all, I thought there was a short model, just wasn't sure

I really goofed, I meant it to apply to Left Hand actions

They made short LH actions for production rifles in the WSM's only.

Have you actually seen a CRF 223 Rem? I have heard stories about them but have never actually laid eyes on one.
