Savage bolts

While I hunt with a FN mauser, for a low cost F-class rifle I bought a Savage.I hear they come with their own plywood semi-inlet to practice angle grinding on.If I get a little more serious, can I swap bolt heads,from 308 to 223.

Yes.....and if you really want you can put that bolt head for the 223 in a Mauser bolt as well. You'll have to modity the Mauser some but it's easy to have a Mauser single shot 223 using that savage 223 bolt head!
