While taking my gun apart to clean. I found on the guard housing assembly, one of the side pieces(about 3/8 of an inch wide and 1/8 of an inch thick) that goes to the block that is pinned to the reciever is loose.
Is it supposed to be attached (brazed,soldered,welded)? Or is only 1 side supposed to be secured to it?

They occasionally come loose and need to be silver soldered (brazed) back on
